Winifred V. Woolsey, 98, Altoona, passed away Monday morning at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, following a brief illness. She was born in Petersburg, daughter of the late Henry and Elizabeth (Roodhouse) Vanderpool. Surviving are a son, Paul Chalker; a nephew and a niece: Frank Vanderpool and Pauline Carson, both raised in the home; and her favorite niece, with whom she resided, Delores “Dee” Miller. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
