William H. Garman

William H. Garman, 87, Altoona, passed away Thursday.

He was born in Calvin, PA, son of the late Jessie and Layla Garman.

He married Sondra Steel. She preceded him in death in April of 1990.

He is survived by special friend, Marcella Armstrong; two sons: William R. and Scott Allen; and a sister, Jean.

Bill retired in 2005 as a night manager from Coca-Cola. He was an avid bowler and golfer and was a member of many leagues in Altoona and Florida.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 am on Monday, January 20, 2025 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Altoona, PA 16601. Inurnment will take place at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Township.
