William A. "Billy" Olson, Jr.

William A. “Billy” Olson, Jr., 49, Altoona, died Friday morning at home after a lengthy illness. He was born in Altoona, son of William A. Olson, Sr. and Donna (Hauk) Olson Ritts. William is survived by his mother, Donna; three sisters: Vicki Notaro (Dennis), Lori McGeary (Kevin) and Chelsea Ritts; two nephews: Justin McGeary (Lauren) and Kevin McGeary (Casey); and two great nephews: Malachi and Carson McGeary, all of Altoona. He was preceded in death by his father, William. Billy was a 1988 graduate of Altoona Area High School. He worked at J.B. Hunt as a warehouseman and he was a sports enthusiast, he especially loved the Pittsburgh Steelers. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Inurnment will take place at Grandview Cemetery.
