Pastor Warren Karl Yeager, Sr., 81, Altoona, peacefully passed away Thursday at his home.

He was born in Philadelphia, son of the late Albert Charles and Effie Naomi (Hobba) Yeager.

Pastor Yeager’s life was a testament to faith, family, and unwavering love. He is lovingly remembered by his 14 children: Christy, Warren Jr., Jill, Eric, Bruce, Kelly, Dan, Russell (deceased), Evelyn, Lorraine, Timothy, Melinda, Steven (deceased), Michael, Amy, Alan; 52 grandchildren: Jaclyn, Nicole, Alyssa, Brooke, Trevor, Karl, Rayna, Damien, Ethan, Nicholas, Jordan, Rachel, Adam, Benjamin, Hannah, Karla, Bruce Jr., Tyler, Abby, Alexis, Jenna, Owen, Mitchell, Joel, Layna, Cody, Morgan, Simon, Giuliana, Rylie, Cameron, Ava, Greyson, Naomi, Leah, Briann, Chase, Kaya, Fiona, Kieran, Connor, Alivia, Alexa, Kyle, Taylor, Mike Yeager Jr., Tanner, Eddie, Mason, Serena, Jackson, Silas, and eight great-grandchildren: Seth, Kellen, Kennedy, Hadyn, Gracelyn, Coretta, Avery, Ryder; and a brother, James Yeager (Ida Ruth).

He was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Linda, who now awaits him in eternal peace. He was also preceded in death by two children.

Family and friends will be received from 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Altoona, 16601.

Family and friends will also be received from 5 to 8 pm on Wednesday, May 13 at John F. Fluehr & Sons, Inc., 3301 Cottman Ave, Philadelphia, 19149 and from 9 to 11 am on Thursday, May 14 where a funeral service will immediately follow at 11 am. Interment will be made at North Cedar Hill Cemetery.
