Walter Glenn DeArmitt, Jr.

Walter G. DeArmitt, Jr. October 29, 1957 -- January 6, 2021 Walter G. DeArmitt, Jr., 63, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at his home in Huntingdon after battling several illnesses. He was born in Altoona, a son of the late Walter G., Sr. & Martha Jean (Wolfe) DeArmitt. Surviving are two sisters; Trudy Benson (Ed) of Altoona, Sue Houck (Harry) of Altoona, two brothers; Andrew (Patty), Altoona, Bob (Georgie) of Warriors Mark as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Walter was a self-employed restaurant owner. A memorial service will be held at 3pm Saturday, January 16, 2021, at the Lighthouse Fellowship, located at the corner of Bloom and Woomer Roads in Altoona, with Pastor John Collins, officiating. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Twp, Altoona.
