Vincent Frank Ronzo, Jr., age 60, of Altoona, Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late Vincent Frank, Sr. and Jeannette (Taylor) Ronzo. Vincent married Amy Jo Herr on September 16, 2020, in Altoona.
He is survived by his loving wife, Amy; a sister, Joyce Ronzo; and several nieces and nephews, including Adam Almeraris (Candi) and their children, Lilith and Adilynn; Markell and Martavius Herr; Taylor Miller (Jordan) and their children, Savannah and Drew; Torie Herr; Charles Lyman; and Christopher Ronzo (Harly) and their son, Oliver. He also leaves behind his father-in-law, Andrew Herr, Sr.; sister-in-law, Andrea Herr; and brother-in-law, Andrew Herr, Jr. (Amanda). Vincent was cherished by many loving friends.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Jean Irrazabal, and his mother-in-law, Cynthia Herr.
Vincent was employed by MTS, where he served as a van driver. He had a passion for restoring toy cars and was an active member of various online enthusiast groups. A devoted football fan, he particularly enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers. Vincent was also skilled in autobody work, collaborating with friends to repair cars.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc.
