Timothy Wayne Eyer

Timothy “Haney” Eyer, 67, Altoona, passed away Tuesday evening at his home. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Charles and Viola Eyer. He is survived by his wife, Beth; three sons: Brian and wife Beth, Timothy and Wendy, and Denny McConnell and wife Jolene; three daughters: Misty Corle, Ashley Beard, and Nicole Dishong and husband Tanner; 13 grandchildren, one who reared in the home, Adreonna McConnell; seven great grandchildren; three sisters: Viola Thomas, Tina Crotsley, and Sylvia Coble; and two brothers: Charles and Samuel. He was preceded in death by two brothers: Fay and Terry; and a sister, Ellen. Tim worked as an auto mechanic for over 30 years, he owned and operated his own business. He enjoyed fixing things, fishing, and spending time with his family. Due to COVID-19, a celebration of life gathering will be held for close family and friends on Friday, November 6, 2020 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Juniata Civic Association, 206 W. 12th Avenue, Altoona, PA 16601 with Pastor Cindyjo Hoover officiating.
