Thelma M. Petrusky

Thelma M. Petrusky, 97, White Lake Township, Michigan, formerly of Altoona, passed away Sunday. 

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Stewart L. and Geraldine (Pitchford) Moore. On May 20, 1966, she married Joseph E. Petrusky on Arlington, VA. He preceded her in death on July 27, 2018.

Thelma is survived by a daughter, Loraine Miller and husband Scott in White Lake, MI; three grandchildren: Justin Miller, Samantha Miller and Tristin Miller; and a brother, Robert Moore in North Carolina.

She was preceded in death by siblings: Roy Moore, Jack Moore, Richard Moore, Dorothy Reisig and Eloise Wilson.

Thelma was a graduate of Altoona High School and attended Penn State University, Altoona. She retired from Robert Patt Investments as an Administrative Assistant.

She was a member of Juniata United Methodist Church. She volunteered at Blair Senior Center and enjoyed playing cards and crocheting.

Friends will be received from 10 am to 11 am on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4^th Avenue, Altoona, where a funeral service will be held at 11 am with Pastor Michelle Bodle officiating. Interment will take place at Blair Memorial Park.
