Steven James Snowberger, 48, Altoona, went to be with his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, Monday, December 13, 2021 at UPMC Altoona.

He was born in Altoona on May 1, 1973, son of the late Mary (Modico) Patterson.

He is survived by two sons; Steven Snowberger of Ohio and Isaac Snowberger of Manschoice, PA, one sister; Amy Zimmerman and husband Brent of Altoona and his fiance’ Lisa Dwelley of Cumberland, MD.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Modico Patterson and his grandfather Samuel Modico.

He worked at Value Drug as a pharmacy technician.

After graduating from Altoona Area High School, he served in the Marine Corps in many places including Somalis during Operation Restore.  Steve was proud to call himself a Marine.

Steve loved spending time with his family and loved the Pittsburgh Steelers.  He was artistic and had a passion for painting.  He was known for his quick wit and could make anyone laugh.  Steve was very loved and will be greatly missed.  He loved the Lord Jesus and is now at home with Him.

Friends will be received from 3 to 5pm Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Juniata, where a funeral service will be held at 5p.m., Pastor Joe Kelly, officiating.  Entombment will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
