Stanley A. Nagle, 67, Altoona, passed away Saturday at UPMC Altoona.

He was born in Altoona, son of the late Duane and Ruth (Erickson) Nagle.

He is survived by his close friend, Elizabeth Nagle; a brother, Duane Nagle (Karen); nieces and nephews: Duane Nagle (Heather), Jeremy Nagle, Brandon Nagle (Tineisha), Amanda Nagle (Tim Hart); four great nephews and one great niece. He is also survived by an aunt Shirley Erickon and Cheryl Lukens and numerous cousins.

Stanley served in the United States Marine Corps.

He enjoyed hunting a fishing.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the nurses and doctors who cared for Stanley at the VA Hospitals in Altoona and Pittsburgh, as well as UPMC Altoona, for the compassionate care they provided.

Family and friends will be received from 4 to 7:30 pm on Friday, August 28, 2026 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Altoona where funeral honors will be rendered at 7:30 pm. Interment will be made at Grandview Cemetery.
