Sharon Lee Dickey, 75, of Altoona (Juniata), was gently welcomed home early Tuesday morning, to reunite with her beloved family.
Born in Anne Arundel, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late William Riley and Viola Pearl (Freeth) Dickey. Sharon held a special place in the hearts of her family, and she leaves behind her siblings: William R. Dickey Jr. of Hollidaysburg, Leslie (Burr) Hayden of Altoona, and Thomas Dickey, along with his fiancée Kris of Hollidaysburg. She was also a devoted aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.
Known affectionately as “Tink,” Sharon found joy in attending Pittsburgh Penguins games, where laughter and cheers flourished amid family and friends. Additionally, she had a talent for crafts and a passion for collecting, which brought her immense joy.
She was loved and spoiled by her family; a woman who spoke her mind and let you know where you stood and she always had your back.
She is waiting to be readily received by her loved ones who left this earth before her-mother, Viola; sister, Lynn; and brother-in-law, Vince J. Burr.
Friends will be received from 4 to 6 pm on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Altoona, where a funeral service will begin at 6 pm. Interment will be made at Alto Reste Park.
