Ryan M. Grealey-Nyce

Ryan M. Grealey-Nyce, 27, Altoona, died Wednesday afternoon at UPMC-Altoona, of heart complications. He was born in Altoona, son of Edward Nyce and Gail Grealey. Surviving are his parents and his children: Maci and Ryan, Jr.; a brother, Shawn; two nieces; and numerous aunt, uncles, and cousins. Ryan was a graduate of Altoona Area High School. He loved being outdoors. He was a Boy Scout and became an Eagle Scout. He was kind hearted and liked by everyone. He loved campfires, working on his four-wheeler, and taking his kids for rides. He also enjoyed visiting family in the Philadelphia area and was an avid Eagles Fan. He was able to better others’ lives by donating his organs to those in need. He was loved and will be greatly missed. Due to recent COVID-19 recommendations, a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
