Ronald Scott Vipond, 59, Altoona, passed away Monday.
He was born in Altoona, son of Harry O. and Janet (Wilcox) Vipond.
He is survived by a daughter, Brittany Vipond in Mexico; his father, Harry and special friend, Helen Muir of Altoona; a sister, Melissa Clapper of Altoona; nieces and nephews, Justin Plewa (Avonna) and their daughter, Brinly, Olivia Clapper and her son, Bently Weimer and Johnathon Clapper; and best friend Jeff McConnell and wife Diane of Hollidaysburg.
Ronald worked as an electrician for IBEW Local # 5. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisher and hunter. He was a kind caring man and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 2-4 pm, Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc. Inurnment will take place at Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood.
