Robert D. Brubaker, 75, Hollidaysburg, passed away Wednesday at the Hollidaysburg Veterans’ Home.
He was born in Roaring Spring, son of the late O. Dean and Ethelmae M. (Barr) Brubaker.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth E. (Miller) Brubaker of Altoona; and a daughter, Tara Sue Sitts and husband Darren of Tacoma, WA.
He was preceded in death by two sisters: Shirley Walters and Nancy Brubaker.
Robert was a 1966 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. He retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad as a machinist and also worked at many car lots. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Juniata and was a lifetime member of the Bavarian Club.
He enjoyed camping, fishing, and working on cars and machinery.
He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era.
At the request of the deceased, no public services will be held. Entombment will take place at Blair Memorial Park.
