Robert R. Barr

Robert R. Barr, 90, of Altoona, passed away Monday, October 14, 2024, at his home following a brief illness.

He was born in Altoona, a son of the late Clyde H. and Mary Irene (Thomas) Barr. He married Donna M. Noll on June 26, 1953, in Winchester, VA.

Bob retired from ConRail as a clerk. He had served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean era. He was a member of Juniata United Methodist Church.

Bob is survived by three daughters, Robyn S. Heisler, Donna J. Sagaities, and Cindy L. Barr, all of Altoona; 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; one sister, Joy K. Lumadue.

He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.; one son-in-law, Dave Heisler; and one grandson, David Heisler.

At Bob’s request, there will be no Viewing or Funeral Service.
