Philip Stanley Perry, 92, Duncansville, passed away Friday evening.

He was born in Frankstown Township, son of the late Albert and Mabel (Williams) Perry. On November 27, 1952, he married Shirley Annette in the Third Evangelical United Brethren Church, Altoona.

In addition to his wife, Shirley, of 70 years; he is survived by a daughter, Sharon K. Perry and a son, Bryan P. Perry (Janet).

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra E. Perry; and siblings: John, Ernest, Adie, Kenneth, Robert, Janet Drass, Nina Yohn and Arlene Burket.

Philip was a 1948 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. He retired from Bell Atlantic on April 1, 1988 as a Manager of Switching Services. He was a member East End United Methodist Church, Blair County Selective Service Board for 20 years, American Legion Post 516, Hollidaysburg, Altoona Ambucs and the Telephone Pioneers of America. He enjoyed traveling and spending the winter months with his wife in their vacation home in Bonita Springs, FL.

He was a Staff Sargent in the US Army 63rd Sig Battalion in Austria and Italy. He also served as a Lieutenant in the 28th Division PA National Guard.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg and AseraCare Hospice.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place at Alto Reste Park.
