Pauline Corrigan Price

Pauline Corrigan Price, 93, Fayetteville, PA, formerly of Altoona, passed away Thursday evening at Paramount Senior Living. 

She was born in Claysburg, daughter of the late Peter Corrigan and Nettie Pauline Schorner. 

She is survived by four children: Todd Price and Dyane Hummel of Waynesboro, PA, Kent and Wyline Price of Hamilton, MT, Tracey A. Price of Edgewater, MD and Tammey and Paul Roberts Hatboro, PA; grandchildren: Danielle Hummel-Sass and Liz (Longbreak), Douglas Hummel-Price and Julie (Trimarco), Dr. Bryan Hummel-Price and Meghan (Sutton), Benjamin Roberts and Stephanie, Alicia Foerst and Tyler and Nate Roberts and MaddiGrace; and great grandchildren: Esme Rose, Alexander Russell and Cordelia Daisy Hummel-Sass, Stevie Eleanor Price and Grace Margaret, Caleb Paul and Bethany May Roberts. 

She was preceded in death by (Harry) Bruce Price and Mona Price. 

Pauline was a 1947 graduate of Altoona High School. She retired in 1992 after 20 years of service from Simpson-Temple United Parish as church secretary. Upon retirement, she spent many years volunteering at Blair Senior Services in several different capacities.

She was a member of Jaggard First United Methodist Church, the Altoona Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star and enjoyed gardening, sewing and was a food buff. 

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4^th Avenue, Altoona, 16601. Friends will also be received from 10 to 11 am on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Jaggard First United Methodist Church, 1801 Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, 16602, where a funeral service will be held at 11 am. Interment will be made at Blair Memorial Cemetery, Antis Township.
