Patrick Clair Greenwood, age 72, of Moberly, Missouri passed away peacefully with family by his side on December 21, 2025, at University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. Pat was born on November 29, 1953, in Altoona, Pennsylvania to Kenneth and Lois (Hamer) Greenwood.
Pat graduated from Altoona High School, Altoona, Pennsylvania in 1971. With some college classes and strong work ethic he made his way in the manufacturing industry. His career took him to many places, such as Mount Airy, North Carolina, Beatrice, Nebraska, and Orangeburg, South Carolina, where he retired in 2021 as a Quality Control Engineer with Husqvarna. After retirement Pat moved to Moberly, Missouri to be close to his son and daughter-in-law Jo.
Pat was a 32nd degree Mason and lifelong member of the NRA. Pat loved hunting, fishing, making knives, and spending time with family at home and on beach vacations. Pat also enjoyed shooting pool in his basement while watching football games (especially the Pittsburgh Steelers and Nebraska Huskers) and sharing hilarious stories of his fly-in fishing trips to Canada.
Pat is preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Lois, his sister Bonnie, niece Tammy and son Michael. He is survived by his son Patrick and Joelle Greenwood of Moberly, Missouri, daughter Jessica and Mike Seidel of Altoona, Pennsylvania, sister Debbie and Rick Lambert of Bellwood, Pennsylvania, sister Robyn and Steve Kasun of Altoona, Pennsylvania, brother Michael and Tessa Greenwood of Altoona and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

“Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear.”
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
If desired, donations in Pat’s memory can be made to pancan.org for continued pancreatic cancer research.
