Patricia Ann Caldwell 90, was called to her eternal home on Sunday, July 19, 2026. She was born on July 15, 1936, to Charles and Vincey Burnworth in Connellsville. She was the oldest of four siblings.
On January 6, 1956, she married Baxter Caldwell. They shared a long and happy life serving the Lord and living in his blessings. Patty was the Matriarch of a large eclectic family and will be sorely missed. She was blessed with four children as a young Mother, then doubly blessed by three more Godsons later in life to love and cherish.
Patty graduated from Connellsville High school in 1954 and went on to have many fascinating career experiences. She was a talented seamstress, and worked at a sewing factory for several years. She then worked at SKF Industries for 20 years. In 1984, she started a family business with Baxter and was the CFO of Blair America for 24 years. After retirement, she worked part time at Encompass health as a Tech until November of 2025.
Patty loved her family and she loved to travel-especially to beaches. She loved to cook and feed people-she was a consummate hostess and loved to make people feel comfortable around her, especially in her home. She will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: Richard and Larry Burnworth; and two sons: Randall J. Caldwell and Guy A. Gray.
She is survived by her husband, Baxter; a sister, Joyce Omlor (Joe); sister-in-law, Linda Burnworth and many children and grandchildren-James B. Caldwell, Leigh Ann Bowser (Dale), Ashley Caldwell, Nickea Stalter (Mike), Tiffany Chartias (John), Sophia Crawford (Mike), Leann Gray, Nova Ellis, Tracy Beere (Ken), Victoria Harrington (John), Kenny Beere (Marrissa), Valerie Morris (Damien), Anthony Wickham (Brittany), Dwight Gray, Trisha Harris (Mike) and Christian Gray (Vernon and Suzy Gutshall). She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews that she cherished.
Family and friends will be received from 11 am to 1 pm on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc. where a funeral service will begin at 1 pm with Pastor John Poe officiating. Interment will be made at Grandview Cemetery.
