Nancy L. Galentine

Nancy L. Galentine, 79, Altoona, passed away Saturday at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Robert C. and Dorothy (Hanley) Dorman. She married James A. Galentine Jr. in Altoona. He preceded her in death in 2002. Surviving are two children: James A. Galentine III and Lisa D. Poirrier (Jimmy); a grandson, Jordan M. Galentine; and numerous nieces and nephews. Nancy was a graduate of Altoona High School and attended Altoona School of Nursing. She retired from Dollar General as manager. Nancy enjoyed crocheting and reading books, and she loved spending time with her family. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service on Friday, Aug. 2, 2019, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Township.
