Milton B Geist

Milton B. Geist, 84, Altoona, died Thursday, December 23, 2021 at UPMC Altoona. He was born November 4, 1937, in Geeseytown, a son of the late Richard A. and Dorothea (Shade) Geist. He married Judith L. Shingle who preceded him in death on April 27, 2010. Surviving are two sons; Richard M. Geist of Altoona, James A. Geist in Colorado, one daughter Lee Ann Geist of Altoona, and two grandchildren; Dalena Spickler and Devin Gerber. He was the last of five children in his family. During his working years, he was a welder for the Penn Central Railroad as well as Conrail and Norfolk Southern. His hobbies included bowling, Altoona Curve games, fishing, hunting, camping and playing cards. Friends will be received from 4pm until the 5pm memorial service on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Altoona, PA 16601.
