Michael James Mortimer, Jr.

Michael James Mortimer, Jr., 35, Altoona, passed away early Friday morning after a tragic accident.

He was born in Corona, CA, son of Michael James Mortimer, Sr. and Betty (Yerty) Clark.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his step-father, Todd Clark; wife, Paula Mortimer; three sons: Michael, III, Caleb and Benjamin; and siblings: Quentin Clark, Rochell Yerty, Willow Mortimer, Blade Mortimer, Cody McGee and Syndi Hall.

Michael worked at Weis Markets. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and playing pool.

Family and friends will be received from 11 am to 1 pm on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc. where a funeral service will immediately follow at 1 pm.

Immediately following the service, family and friends are invited to a funeral luncheon at Homers Gap Civic Center, 135 Preston Lane, Altoona PA 16601.
