Mary Ann Weight

Mary Ann Weight, 83, of Altoona, died Tuesday at Hillview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, following a lengthy illness.  She was born in Milwaukee, WI, a daughter of the late Paul and Catherine (Schmidhammer) McIntire.  She married Paul E. Weight in September 1966.  He preceded her in death on April 1, 2006.

Mrs. Weight is survived by a daughter, Theresa Seidel; a granddaughter, Taylor Seidel; a twin sister, Anne Swanger (Donald); and a sister-in-law, Twilla Whitesel, all of Altoona; and several nieces and nephews.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Therese of the Child Jesus Catholic Church.

Friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 9, 2023, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., Juniata, where a Vigil for the Deceased will be celebrated during the Viewing.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 10, 2023, at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Catholic Church with Rev. Brian Norris presiding.  Final resting place will be Blair Memorial Park.
