Mary P. Patterson

Mary P. Patterson, 71, Altoona, went home to be with our Lord and savior Jesus Christ Thursday at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Altoona, daughter of Samuel and Mary (Loria) Modico, Sr. She married the love of her life Robert L. Patterson. They have been married since July 22nd 1991. She is survived by her mother, Mary; a daughter, Amy Zimmerman and husband Brent of Altoona; a son, Steve Snowberger of Altoona; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; five siblings: 3 brothers and 2 sisters all of Altoona; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Samuel. Mary retired from Norfolk Southern in 2006. She was a member of Altoona Full Gospel Church. She loved the Altoona Curve and was a season ticket holder since 1999. She loved vacationing and her favorite place was the beach. She was deeply loved and will be forever missed! Friends will be received from 3 to 5 pm on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Juniata where a funeral service will be held at 5 pm with Pastor Joe Kelly officiating. Entombment will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
