Martha J Rickabaugh

Martha J. Rickabaugh, 84, Deltona, FL, formerly of Altoona, passed away Wednesday at her home in Florida.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Jack Wm Corrigan, Sr. and Effie Hanna.

Martha was twice married. She married Charles L. Lafferty in Winchester, VA. He preceded her in death on October 1, 1993 after 36 years of marriage. She then married Paul Rickabaugh in Altoona. He preceded her in death on December 24, 2007 after 10 years of marriage.

She is survived by children: Chuck Lafferty, Jr in Deltona, FL, Robin Heaton in Hollidaysburg, Karen Hoover in Deltona, FL, Terry Lafferty in Gibsonia, Sherry Lafferty in Palm Bay, FL and Rick Lafferty in Monroe, NC; 11 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and her very best friend of 15 years, Wallee. She is also survived by a brother and five sisters.

Martha was a member of West Loop Missionary Church. She enjoyed writing, poems, spending time with family and shopping.

Friends will be received on Friday, March 8, 2024 from 10 am until Noon at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Altoona, PA 16601 where a funeral service will be held at Noon. Interment will take place at Blair Memorial Park.
