Marlene Frances Field

Marlene Frances Field, 82, Altoona, passed away Sunday morning at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.

She was born in Greensburg, daughter of the late John and Dorothy (Curry) Lawrence.

On May 1, 1965, she married Lewis Ray Field in Duncansville. He preceded her in death on June 13, 1997.

She is survived by two daughters: Connie McChessney of Altoona and Dawn Cullen of Naples, Florida; three step-daughters: Diane Colyer of Bellwood, Joan Fusco of Mifflintown and Maggie Field of Mifflintown; two sisters: Ruth Newkirk of Youngwood and Mary Kirkpatrick of Harrisburg; and two brothers: John Lawrence and wife Ruth of Greensburg and Ed Lawrence of Greensburg. She is also survived by numerous loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Lewis Ray Field, Jr.; a step-daughter, Eileen Shawley.

Marlene enjoyed coloring and Bingo and watching the Steelers and Pirates.

At the request of the deceased, private family services will be held. Arrangements are by Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc.
