Marjorie Ann Krise, 91, Altoona, passed away Friday at Hilltop Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born in Tyrone, daughter of the late Marion H. and Blanche R. (Watson) Hampton.

On August 28, 1954, she married Walter K. Krise in Winchester, VA. Together they shared 46 years of marriage. He preceded her in death on July 8, 1995.

She is survived by two daughters: Debra A. Wallar in Florida and Teri K. Harkins of Altoona; grandchildren: Michael Wallar, Laura Clark (Anthony), Ian Antesberger (Shauna) and Kylee Antesberger (Shawn); and great grandchildren: Olivia and Lena Clark and Amari and Nasir Hartsfield.

She was preceded in death by siblings: Marion “Bunny”, Shirley, Richard, Ronald “Smoke”, Janet and Connie; and son-in-law, Robin Harkins.

Marjorie was a 1952 graduate of Tyrone Area High School. She attended LPN Schooling and spent her life working as a nurse and caregiver.

She was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church and she enjoyed walking at the campus.

At the request of the deceased, no public services will be held.
