Margaret A. Headley

Margaret A. Headley, 73 of Altoona, passed away Friday at the Altoona Center for Nursing Care with her son Thomas by her side. She was born in East Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of William H. and Laura A. (Alesch) Tate. Surviving are a daughter, Teresa Hosler and husband Lewis of Brownsville; a son, Thomas Headley and wife Nancy of Altoona; stepson, Gregory L. Headley of Brownsville; her grandchildren: Megan, Taylor, Drew, Larry, Britnie, Samantha, Heidi, Brandi, Danelle and Derek; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her longtime partner, William E. Grim; daughter, Mary Kathleen Eckard; and grandson, Ronald E. Holt Jr. Margaret’s life was devoted to her children and grandchildren whom she sacrificed so much for. She and her lifelong partner Bill loved to travel. They were long time members of the local Eagles chapter which they spent many years supporting the events and activities there. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Juniata. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 12 p.m. Interment will be made at Grandview Cemetery.
