Margaret Harris

Margaret L. Harris, 62, Norfolk, VA, formerly of Altoona, passed away Sunday at UPMC Altoona from complications from Covid-19. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Joseph W., Sr. and Elinore M. (Wilson) Kephart. She married George Edward Harris, Jr. who preceded her in death on November 2, 2021. She was also preceded by her children: George and Misty. She is survived by a brother, David (Shonna) Kephart and Joseph (Lorena) Kephart, all of Altoona. She was preceded in death by a sister, Jul and Jul's daughter Heather and a brother, Clayton. Margaret was a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting, crafts and baking and loved making cemetery blankets. A joint memorial service for Margaret and her husband George, will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Noon. Friends will be received from 11 am until the noon service at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Ave, Juniata. Interment will be made at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Twp.
