Mary Joyce Law, 89, of Altoona, peacefully passed away on Monday at Graystone Manor at Bellmeade.

Born in Altoona, she was the beloved daughter of the late William and Pearl (Wolf) Johnson. Joyce was married twice, first to William Samuelson and later to Ed Law, who preceded her in death in 2004.

She is remembered by her two sons, Bill Samuelson and his wife Donna of Mifflinburg, and Jeff Samuelson of Altoona; her stepson, Ed Law and his wife Carrie of West Virginia; as well as her step-grandson, Justin Marshall, and step-great-grandsons, Jacob and Isaac Marshall. She is also survived by her first husband, William Samuelson.

A proud graduate of Altoona High School in 1954, Joyce furthered her education in beauty studies and devoted over 45 years to her career in the Juniata area of Altoona. She had a passion for traveling, reading, visiting the beach, and enjoying bus trips to various destinations.

In accordance with her wishes, no public services will be held. Arrangements are entrusted to Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc.
