Louella Jane Grazier, 87, Altoona, passed away Tuesday.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Walter Russell and Violet Beatrice (Nail) Wertz.
On September 28, 1955, she married Clarence Edgar Grazier, Jr. He preceded her in death.
Louella is survived by her children: Joseph Grazier, Darlene Grazier, Crystal Grazier (John Koeck), Belinda Aiken (Bob) and Chuck Grazier (Cindy); grandchildren: Lauren Hoover (Matt), Jess O’Neil (Shawn), Bryant and Amanda; great grandchildren: Elijah, Lena, Samuel, David, Lilly and Brooklyn; siblings: Barbara Settlemyer (Robert) and Donald Wertz; and sisters-in-law: Sue Wertz and Tottie Wertz.
She was preceded in death by her longtime companion, Frank Spagnola; a granddaughter, Tina Aiken; and siblings: Violet, Myrtle, Walter, William, John, Robert “Spike” and Herman.
Louella was an active member of the Bavarian-Auxiliary and VFW Apache, and she had a zest for life that shone through in her many interests. She was passionate about NASCAR, with Rusty Wallace being her favorite driver, and enjoyed both horse racing and game shows like The Price Is Right. Additionally, she spent many enjoyable times playing BINGO and visiting the casino.
Family and friends will be received from 3 to 7 pm on Monday, December 8, 2025 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Altoona. Family and friends will also be received from 10 to 11 am on Tuesday, December 9 at the funeral home where a funeral service will immediately follow at 11 am. Interment will be made at Grandview Cemetery.
