Lorrie J. Sellers

Lorrie J. Sellers, 66, Altoona, passed away Tuesday at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late William Richard and Ethel (McConahy) McNeal. On June 2, 1990, she married Ronald W. Sellers at Greenwood United Methodist Church. In addition to her husband, Ron, of 31 years; she is survived by a sister, Amy Julian and husband William Thad of Altoona; two nieces: Rachel Oaks (Brad) and Hannah Street (Zach); and great nieces and nephew: Elise and Graham Oaks and Nora Street. Lorrie worked as a marketing manager for the EADS Group and she also worked for over 30 years at JC Penny’s as a manager and staff trainer. She was a member of Greenwood United Methodist Church and the Grove Fitness Studio where she enjoyed exercising with her friends. She was a certified yoga instructor. She also enjoyed Penn State Football and tailgating on Saturdays and loved the lake and boating with her husband. She especially loved spending time with her family and friends. Friends will be received on Sunday, August 15, 2021 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Juniata. Friends will also be received on Monday, August, 16, from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service at Greenwood United Methodist Church, 1505 East Walton Avenue, Altoona, with Pastor Duane Coy officiating. Interment will be made at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Greenwood United Methodist Church.
