Linda F. Stacey, 74, Altoona, passed away peacefully, Monday, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Francis and Helen Ball.
On July 20, 1968, she married Richard Ellis Stacey in Altoona with whom she shared a loving partnership of 57 years.
In addition to her devoted husband Richard; she is survived by a daughter, Lisa Renee Stroup and husband Jeremy of Altoona; grandchildren: Noah, Ethan and Tanner Stroup, Amber and Mikayla Stacey, Lindsey and Mitchel Stacey and Nevin Kelly; great grandchildren: Brian, Finnick, Lillianna, Alivia, Eric and Avianna; and a sister, Louise Farrell.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Michael and Brian; a grandson, Derek; and an infant great granddaughter, Avery.
Linda retired in 2018 from the Pennsylvania State University-Altoona Campus where she worked in housing and food services. She found joy in shopping and loved sharing special gifts with her grandchildren, highlighting her nurturing spirit. Additionally, Linda enjoyed attending various sporting events to support her children and grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received from 1 to 2 pm on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Altoona, where a memorial service will immediately follow at 2 pm with Pastor Jason Mauk officiating.
