Lenora Johnson

Lenora J. “Lennie” Johnson, 87, Altoona, passed away Friday at the Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Joseph and Lucy (Riccio) Alianiello.

She is survived by a son, Rick Johnson and wife Judy of Altoona; seven grandchildren; and a sister, Joette Wisnieski and husband Bob.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Anthony Alianiello.

Lennie worked for Proctor Silex before retiring from Carol Cable. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

Lennie enjoyed various pastimes, including reading, solving jigsaw puzzles, and watching NASCAR and Penn State football. A true animal lover, she cherished the time spent with her beloved cats.

Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Altoona, 16601. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Wednesday, December 10 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 806 11th Street, Altoona, 16602 with Father Frank Scornaienchi, TOR officiating. Interment will be made at Calvary Cemetery.
