Kenneth William Rider, Sr.

Kenneth William Rider, Sr., 69, Altoona, died Monday at his home. He was born in Altoona, son of the late William and Luella (Way) Rider. On August 3, 1985, he married Debbie Lukens in Altoona at the Mardorf United Methodist Church. In addition to his wife of 35 years, he is survived by a son, Kenneth W. Rider, Jr. of Altoona; a daughter, Kelli R. (Rider) Focht and husband Rusty of Altoona; a stepdaughter, Deanna (Beach) Heaton and husband Dan of Georgia; a brother, Steve Rider of Altoona; three granddaughters: Kylie, Peyton, and Kelsey Focht; and three grandsons: Christian and Austin Heaton and RJ Focht. Kenneth retired as an auto mechanic. He was a member of Mardorf United Methodist Church and loved cars and cooking. He served in the U.S. Army. Friends will be received on Friday, June 5, 2020 from 4 until the 6 p.m. Funeral Service at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Altoona with Pastor Jim Balzano officiating.
