Karen Servello

Karen Servello (nee Parshall), of Altoona, passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2025 in her hometown.

Born on May 12, 1962, in Altoona, Karen spent her life rooted in the community where she was born and deeply cherished.

Karen’s life was centered around the people she loved. She found immense joy in spending time with family and friends, creating lasting memories through shared laughter, heartfelt conversations and simple moments of togetherness. Her warmth and presence left a lasting impression on everyone she met, touching hearts with kindness and sincerity.

Karen is survived by her devoted husband, three children, eight grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Her legacy lives on through the generations of family who carry forward the love and strength she so generously gave. She is also survived by her beloved cat, Tigger.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 3 to 6 pm on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Altoona, PA.
