June S. Ehgartner

June S. Ehgartner, 89, Altoona, passed away Tuesday evening at her home. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Wilson T. and Velma M. (Hopkins) Hamler. On December 18, 1948, she married Carl G. Ehgartner in Cumberland, MD. In addition to her husband of 72 years, she is survived by two sons: Dr. Timothy Ehgartner and wife LuAnn, of Huntingdon and Dr. Greg Ehgartner and wife Suzanne, of Enola; twin sister, Joan Orner of Altoona; sister, Patty Wertz of Altoona; grandchildren: Krista and Michael Ehgartner of Huntingdon, Kendra McCauley of New Bethlehem, and Matthew and Samuel Ehgartner of Enola; great grandchildren: Wyatt and Kaitlin Ehgartner of Huntingdon; and twin great grandchildren: Ava Elizabeth and Alexa June McCauley of New Bethlehem. June was a 1948 graduate of Altoona High School. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. During her working years she worked in the family business, Blair Honda. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at Alto Reste Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc.
