Julia M. Risbon

Julia M. “Julie” Risbon, 85, Altoona, passed away late Tuesday evening at Hilltop Healthcare and Rehab.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Sheldon and Dorothy Cora (Sonday) Stewart.

She is survived by a son, Jeffery Risbon of Altoona; Shelda Campbell of Altoona; seven grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and siblings: Edward Stewart, Betty Dively and Deborah Baumgartner.

She was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Risbon; son-in-law, Thomas Campbell; and great grandson, Steven Risbon.

Julie was a 1958 graduate of Altoona High School. She was a homemaker and a lifetime member of the Bavarian Aide Society. She loved to cook, animals, the Pittsburgh Steelers and spending time with family.

Family and friends will be received from 1 to 3 pm on Friday, December 12, 2025 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., where a memorial service will immediately follow at 3 pm. Inurnment will be made at Blair Memorial Park.
