Judith “Judy” Johnson, 67, of Altoona, passed away Wednesday at UPMC Presbyterian.

She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late Robert and Mary Francis Moses.

On September 28, 1996, she married her beloved husband, Rick Johnson, in Altoona. Together, they shared nearly 30 years of marriage.

In addition to her husband, Rick, Judy is survived by her two sons, Nicholas Johnson (Liz) of Pottsville, PA, and Tyler Johnson (Andie) of Altoona; five grandchildren, who brought her great joy; a sister, Karen Isenburg; and a brother, John Moses. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Judy was a 1976 graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle High School. Before her retirement, she dedicated many years to serving her community as a 911 dispatcher.

She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church, where she enjoyed volunteering with the church’s food ministry.

Judy found happiness in the things she loved most. She enjoyed crafting and cooking, and she especially looked forward to watching the Dallas Cowboys. Above all, she treasured time spent with her family and the memories made with those she loved.

Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm on Monday, September 14, 2026 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Altoona. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at First Baptist Church, 1209 17th Street, Altoona, PA with Pastor Tyler Pepper officiating. Interment will be made at Calvary Cemetery.
