Joyce M. Romine

Joyce M. Romine, 64, of Altoona passed away unexpectedly on January 17th, 2025 at UPMC Altoona. She was born on May 2nd, 1960, a daughter of the late George and Nancy Blyler.

She is preceded in death by her husband Mark Romine and sister Susan Walter.

She is survived by her three children, Mark (Kelly) Romine, Josh (Colleen) Romine and Casey (Cody) Gray. As well as beloved grandchildren Andrew and Isabella, sister Martha Bombay and brothers Michael and John Blyler.

She was a 1978 graduate of the Altoona Area High School and 1980 graduate of the Altoona School of Beauty. She worked as a hair stylist for the majority of her working career. Joyce surrounded her life with love and laughter in centering her world around her children and grandchildren. She loved her sunshine, late night thunderstorms, and her Dunkin frozen mochas.

A private family ceremony will be held at Grandview Cemetery.

The celebration will take place from 2 PM to 6 PM at the Morrison Cove Memorial Park Banquet Hall, located at 201 S. Walnut Street, Martinsburg, PA 16662. Food will be provided, and attendees are encouraged to contribute by signing up for a covered dish.
