John W. Stoker, Jr.

John W. Stoker, Jr., 60, Hollidaysburg, passed away on Monday, February 21. He was born in Altoona, son of the late John and Elaine (Moberg) Stoker. He was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur W. Stoker. Surviving is one sister, Janice (Stoker) Gibson.

He is also survived by nephews: Jamin (Monica) Gibson, Jenner (Amanda) Gibson, and a niece, Jasa (Jessie) Gibson.

John was a graduate of Altoona Area High School, class of 1979, and graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Economics in 1985. He was a leading sales representative in the food service industry for many years. He retired from Dick’s Homecare, Altoona.

John enjoyed hunting, training and showing Morgan horses and raising his beloved Cairn terrier, Sophie.

Friends will be received at 11 am on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4^th Avenue, Altoona where a memorial service will immediately follow at noon.
