Janice R. Johnson

Janice R. Johnson, 66, of Altoona, passed away on Christmas Day, at UPMC, Altoona. She was born in Berwick, a daughter of the late John Paul and Evelyn Glade (Frank) Taylor. She married James L. Johnson on May 11, 1974, in Altoona. Janice is survived by her husband; one son, Jason P. (Lauren); her mother E. Glade Taylor, of York, PA; and two sisters, Carol Staley and Donna Taylor, both of York, PA. She was a graduate of Altoona High School and nursing school in Osceola Mills. Janice was an RN and had worked at Altoona Hospital, UPMC, retiring in 2010. She was of the Methodist faith. She enjoyed cross stitching and reading. All Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Juniata.
