Jamie Dodson

Jamie S. Dodson, 69, Altoona, formerly of Claysburg, passed away peacefully, Wednesday evening, surrounded by her family.

She was born in Roaring Spring, a daughter of the late James and Opal (Benton) Dodson.

She is survived by her loving husband, Kirk Beichler; a daughter, Hillary Doran of Hollidaysburg; step-daughters: Jessica Beichler (Johnathan Spahn) of Plum and Krista Beichler of Altoona; a granddaughter, Mackenzie Spahn; a sister, Marian Bridges (Dale) of Hollidaysburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her beloved dog, Raven.

Jamie received a Bachelor’s degree from Saint Francis University.

She was an avid supporter of Toys-for-Tots and loved to bake.

At the request of the deceased, no public services will be held.
