James L. Moyer

James L. Moyer, 63, Altoona, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, September 30th at UPMC Altoona.

He was born in Altoona, son of William Raymond and Elizabeth (Pringle) Moyer. He married Robin Campbell. She preceded him in death in December of 2021.

James is survived by his mother, Elizabeth McCaulley of Altoona; a son, James Moyer, Jr. of Altoona; a step-son, Josh Anspach of Altoona; a granddaughter, Joslynn Noel; step grandson, Cash Anspach; and four siblings: Linda Prough of Altoona, Billie Woodring of Bellwood, Jane Phlean of Altoona and Dan Moyer of Altoona.

Jim was a 1976 graduate of Altoona High School. He worked for Goodhart Sons as a millwright and he also worked as an auto body paint tech.

He was expert pianist and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading, playing pool and canoeing at Glendale Lake. He also enjoyed auto body painting and was proud of his paint work.

Friends will be received from 5 to 6 pm on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Juniata, where a memorial service will be held at 6 pm with Pastor John Collins officiating.
