James Robert Dunn, 41, Altoona, passed away Sunday.

He was born in Altoona, son of Robert Dunn and Bess Mitchell.

On May 24, 2025, he married Ashley Barr.

In addition to his wife, Ashley; and parents; he is survived by a sister, Angela Bongiorno; a brother, Steve Ice; a sister, Maxine Dunn; children: Ashley Dunn, James Dunn and Hailey Dunn; step-children: Adreonna McConnell, Alexus McConnell and Aaron Beard; three grandchildren; and nieces and nephews: Kylie Bongiorno, Anthony Williams and Tito Williams.

James enjoyed riding his motorcycle and he was a member of the Animals Motorcycle Club.

Friends will be received from 12 to 4 pm on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Altoona, where a funeral service will begin at 4 pm with Rev. Elizabeth Hess officiating.
