Altoona
Howard E. Walters, Jr., 89, Altoona, passed away Saturday.
He was born in Altoona, son of the late Howard E., Sr. and Margaret A. (Walker) Walters.
He married Virginia (Stetter) Walters. She preceded him in death.
Howard is survived by a nephew, Mark Hoover of Altoona.
He played the organ for Greenwood United Methodist Church for many years. He also drove bus for the Altoona School District for many years after retirement.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 am on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at St. James Lutheran Church, 1407 8th Avenue, Altoona, PA 16602. Inurnment will be made at Grandview Cemetery.
