Henry J. "Hank" Trybus

Henry J. “Hank” Trybus, 71, Altoona, passed away Wednesday, peacefully surrounded by his wife and daughters.

He was born in Windber, son of the late Fred and Lenore (Hamil) Trybus.

On June 21, 1975, he married his best friend, Sharon E. Moses in Cresson.

In addition to his wife, Sharon; he is survived by two daughters: Mandy Trybus of Pittsburgh and Stacy Lubold (Nate) of Harrisburg; five grandchildren: Ty McGowan, Larissa McGowan, Alexandra Mazurek, Mason Lubold and Elyse Lubold; and two siblings: Patricia Chappell and Joe Trybus (Connie).

He was preceded in death by three siblings: Bob, Fred and Barbara.

Hank began his career with Penn Central. He worked as an engineer for Conrail, and he later retired from Norfolk Southern as a Road Foreman of Engines.

He enjoyed hunting and shooting guns. He was known for his unique sense of humor and memorable catchphrases; he had a wonderful way of brightening the days of those fortunate enough to know him. After retirement, he enjoyed life to the fullest with Sharon always by his side.

At the request of the deceased, no public services will be held.
