Hazel Mickey

Hazel F. Mickey, 73, Bellwood, passed away Sunday evening. 

She was born in Bellwood, a daughter of Roy E. and Jeannette (Garman) McCaulley.

She married Howard S. Mickey. He preceded her in death on June 6, 2013.

Hazel is survived by her mother, Jeannette; two children: Christine Ridinger (Scott) and Joseph Hillard, all of Bellwood; grandchildren: Noah and Aaron Hillard, Casandra, Justin and Tyler Ridinger; great grandchildren: Sophie and Sadie; and three siblings: Diane Ruggery, Marlene White and Curtis McCaulley.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roy; a son, Roy E. Hillard; and a brother, Edward McCaulley.

Hazel was a member of United Calvary Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping and spending time with her family.

A celebration of life service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024, at Bellwood Cross of Calvary Church, North Fourth St., Bellwood.
