Grace Veloz Johns

Grace Veloz Johns, 92, Altoona, passed away Saturday morning at Hillview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Epifanio and Josephine (Reynosa) Veloz. She is survived by a daughter, Carole MacVicar of Pittsburgh; a son, Norman Johns of Altoona; and two sisters: Shirley Ecker of Florida and Joanne Veloz of Altoona. She was preceded in death by a son, Nicholas Johns and six siblings: Frank, Alfred, R. John, Joseph, Anna Marie Faust and Nattie Clark. No public services will be held. Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are by Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc.
