Georgia C. Kuhn, 81, of Altoona, passed away peacefully early Saturday morning at Garvey Manor.

She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late Henry and A. Margaret (Irvine) Foster.

Georgia is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Terza and her husband, Joe, of Altoona; her son, Christian Kuhn and his wife, Phikoolta, of Ewing, N.J.; and her two beloved grandsons, Joshua and Caleb Terza, who brought her great joy.

She earned her master's degree from Clarion University and dedicated her career to education and learning. In the early 1970s, she taught art at Hollidaysburg Area High School before later serving as a reference librarian at the Altoona Area Public Library, where she enjoyed helping others discover the joy of reading and learning.

Georgia found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She enjoyed reading, tending to her garden, and knitting, but nothing meant more to her than spending time with her grandchildren.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place at Grandview Cemetery.
